Senior Biologist
Calum has 7 years of broad-based project management experience
as an environmental scientist for a New Zealand Regional Government
Authority. He has been
responsible for the development of comprehensive State of the Environment monitoring
programs and has consulted at a national level to the New Zealand Government. He
has also worked with academic and industry peers to develop national environmental
monitoring indicators. As a biologist and coastal scientist specializing in ecology
and coastal geomorphology, Calum has developed coastal hazard management plans
for the Northland Regional Council in New Zealand, and helped develop solutions
to manage numerous coastal erosion issues. He has acted as environmental
coordinator for the Maritime Safety Authority of New Zealand on national oil
spill response and cleanup. This and other work has often required extensive
public consultation and he has presented extensively to all levels of community
and scientific peers. Callum’s role as Senior Project Manager with
AAR involves overseeing numerous large-scale pipeline projects in Alberta and
B.C. |
