Safety Coordinator & Technical Specialist
 Ian Somers has 28 years of design, on-site and contract management experience
in construction. His first 10 years of employment were as a non-commissioned
land surveyor servicing the oil and gas industry for pipeline and facility design
and installation. The next 18 years were applied to civil, commercial and industrial
construction management, where Ian developed a safety culture that is a mainstay
in his work. As a part of the AAR team he participates as Crew Leader, Safety
Coordinator and Senior Technical Specialist providing leadership and support
to the team. Ian has transferred his skills and knowledge of risk management
into his role as a quad operator course instructor and safety mentor. |
